MACON, Mr. William Thomas Bill, age 81; a resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi and a native of Deatsville, Alabama died Saturday, January 6, 2007. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Ellison Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Macon was preceded in death in 1981 by his wife, Myra McQueen Macon. He is survived by his son, Randy (Brenda) Macon; daughter, Tammy McFarland, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four brothers, Neal (Inez) Macon, Jimmy (Brenda) Macon, Johnny Frank (Carol) Macon, Willie Charles (Wanda) Macon; two sisters, Julia Ann (Frank) Campbell, and Reba Ann (Wesley) Duke; four grandchildren, William Shane Thomas, Tamieka Lynn Thomas, Jessica Marie Macon, and Dylan Thomas Macon; two great-grandchildren, Alexious Thomas and Kelsey Thomas; and a companion, Louise McCann. Pallbearers will be William Shane Thomas, Dylan Thomas Macon, Tonny Carlisle, Thomas Macon, Harold McQueen, Jr. and Barry Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be John Henry Lewis and Johnny Macon, Jr.
