HALL, Ruby Carmen, age 85, went to be with her Lord Monday, May 28, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ocie Floyd Hall. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hebron West Baptist Church, Elmore, AL, with Rev. Robert D. Haggard of New Home Assembly of God Church officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Ellison Funeral Home, 8801 U.S. Highway 231, Wetumpka, AL. She will lie in state for one hour prior to services at the Church on Thursday. Carmen was known for her love for all: her family, friends, church, and others. She enjoyed being with people and encouraged and supported them with her concern, prayers, and home cooking. She was active with a lifetime of service and dedication to her church. Her life continued to be productive as she found joy in cooking for crowds and working in her yard until a few months before her death. She is survived by one son and three daughters: Joe F. (Glenda) Hall of Montgomery, AL; Mary Sue (Shelby) Daniel of Elmore, AL; Carrol (Michael) Timmins of Chandler, AZ; Donna Alexander of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Sherri (David) Folmar of Montgomery, AL; Greg Hall of Los Angeles, CA; John Daniel of Slapout, AL; Jason Daniel of Little Rock, AR; Steve Lee of Slapout, AL; Michael Scott Lee of Slapout, AL; Chris Lee of Montgomery, AL; Courtney Alexander of Kittery, ME. Survivors include seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons Steve Lee, Michael Scott Lee, Chris Lee, John Daniel, Jason Daniel, and great-grandson David Folmar, Jr. The family expresses heartfelt appreciation to Horizons Hospice Care, Inc., and ask that donations be made to them at 458 St. Lukes Drive, Montgomery, AL 36117 or to New Home Assembly of God Church, 5620 Ceasarville Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092.
