CARDELLA, Mrs. Myrtle Lou Parker, age 90, a resident of Elmore, Alabama and formerly of Rochester, New York died Sunday, September 30, 2007. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve King officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hebron West Baptist Church Cemetery with Ellison Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mrs. Cardella is survived by her daughter, Geraldine M. Cardella of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Jeffie K. Parker of Elmore, AL, George Harmon Parker of Holtville, AL and Billy Parker of Deatsville, AL; three sisters, Muriel Darnell of Deatsville, AL, Elloise Parker Thomas of Montgomery, AL and Dixie Marie Parker Dean of Mt. Carmel, TN; and twenty-two nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Michael Cardella; son, Robert Eugene Bobby Cardella; two brothers, Harold Parker and Charles Parker; three sisters, Ida Belle Davis Wright, Trudie Varner, and Lula Mae Parker. Pallbearers will be Berkley Davis, Steve Parker, Herbert Varner, Ronald Darnell, Michael Thomas, Emile Jones, and Roger Parker. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at Ellison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 700 Interstate Park Drive, Montgomery, AL 36109.
