SULLIVAN, Mr. Guy M. Coach, age 76, a resident of Slapout, Alabama died on Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Funeral services will be Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Adams and Rev. William Earnest officiating. Interment will follow the service in Myrtlewood Cemetery, Ft. Deposit, AL with Ellison Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie Sullivan of Slapout, AL; three sons, John (Kathy) Sullivan of Wetumpka, AL, Mike (Sherry) Sullivan of Charlotte, NC, and Scott (Hollie) Sullivan of Los Angeles, CA; three brothers, Jack (Edwina) Sullivan of Fairhope, AL, Ray Sullivan of Troy, AL, and James (Jean) Sullivan of Fairplay, SC; seven grandchildren, Kara Sullivan of Auburn, AL, Jake Sullivan of Wetumpka, AL, Brandon (Kassi) Blanton of Slapout, AL, Brynn Blanton of Millbrook, AL, Michael Sullivan of Charlotte, NC, Katie Sullivan of Charlotte, NC, and Emilie Sullivan of Los Angeles, CA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leah Marie Davis. Coach Sullivan was an avid golfer. He was a graduate of Troy State University where he received his masters degree in education. He was an educator for 39 years, serving as a teacher, coach, and principal. Pallbearers will be Jake Sullivan, Brandon Blanton, Michael Sullivan, John Sullivan, Mike Sullivan, and Scott Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be the Methodist Mens Club. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Cains Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund, 96 Lightwood Road, Deatsville, AL 36022. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 26, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ellison Funeral Home.
